Dianas New Carseat.

I am awaiting Dianas carseat. I thought maybe it would have been here yesterday but no so. Daddy thought it was time that she goes forward faceing. He loves to see her while we are driving. We found the Radian 80 convertible carseat. It has the hightest rating that one can get. We got her the Radian 80 Princess. Only the best for our little princess. This will be her final carseat. It goes up to over 80Lbs. The carseat itself weighs in at a little over 20 lbs. LOL. I will not be able to lug this thing around.

The Boys Evening

So yesterday Daddy won cool points. Gil was home especially early from work. He just could not wait to give dean his surpirses. Dean just kept saying Cool Dad, wow, Your the best. He had to make sure he had on everything . One by one he put it all on. Then the stickers went on. I think they spent an hour putting them on. They would put one on, admire it check out the four wheeler, talk about it and then restart the process. LOL . I know Dean had a great time just him and his daddy ( diana got in on the action to)

My Hubby's Excitement

So My Hubby's been anxiously awaiting Deans Birthday Package. He has checked the status of it daily on the computer. It should have arrived last week but it didn't. So today he calls up and they say they are delayed on their shipping because they are moving from one state to Mississippi. So being the Passive man that he is he says ok and hangs up the phone. Well I am not that easy to get off the phone. Its not our problem that they are moving from one place to the next. There should have been some mention of it before he paid for the 2nd day air. So he gets off the phone a little glum and then not more than 15 min later up walks FEDEX. I have not seen him move so fast. I was outside with my little ones and He comes running out like a kid chasing after the Ice Cream Man. LOL. He opens it and one by one goes though the packages. He was so excited. SO he get to this mound of four wheeler stickers. Dean has been asking Daddy since we bought him the four wheeler to get some stickers. So Gil wanted to put these sticker on the four wheeler to surprise him but says he knows Dean would want to put them up there himself. So Gil him hauls around for a while and says do you think he would want to open up his presents today. LOL. Ok Daddy i see you want to have him open them up to day so you two can play so have at it. Good thing I have more birthday presents for him. I tell you those two are just like two peas in the pod. So i will have to re arrange the dinner menu today since they will be MIAFD tonight. Gil's so excited to take him to Mississippi for Thanksgiving so they can spend their time Four wheeling. While i am not too excited. I would love to go too but with the baby i cant and Gil doesn't even want the family to watch her. So once Abby does her fair share of her one time around I will whisk her and Diana off to the OUTLET MALL. YIPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. We like that much better. Abby never really has gotten into the four wheeling. She will talk up a big storm about it but as soon as she gets on it she does around one time and stops . Probably better. Shes like any girlie girl shes watches us and our reaction to her on it she will drive by us full speed looking at us and not whats in front of her. LOL Scares Gil to Death. Shes a Girl competing with a boy and a dad. I'd rather go out and spend the money on her so she can show off her new look at me daddy clothes and accessories. :) Sounds like fun to me.

Our Weekend :)

Its Sunday night and I feel like i have gotten not one this accomplished this weekend. It was a busy week at work. I have been so use to Myles leaving by 400 and having the rest of the day relaxing with my family , but now with Joshua here he does not get out before 6 or after. It leaves me no time to run around to the store if i need to or leave during the day to the park with Myles and Diana. So all my running around was left for the weekend. I left the kids with Gil for 5 hours yesterday. Boy was i an emotional wreck when i got back. I have not had to leave them since I have been here. I know Gil can handle them it was just to long for mommy to be away from her babies. I got home and daddy had already put the balls in the ball pit to play taken them for a wagon ride. Fed them lunch , Cleaned up :), played ball, put them down for naps, read books ect ect. I was impressed. We all survived.
We were suppose to be in Lawton this weekend for the International Festival. Its nothing too Special but its been Carmen and I's thing to do for the past few years with the kids. Gil Jason Carmen and i would have so much fun just kicking back , walking around , talking to friends, and buying Noel and Dean absolutely everything. We are just too busy . I hated not to be able to go. I'll have to make a special trip in a few weeks.
So our Air went out again. Yes this is the second time. I thought something was going on . Actually I just thought for the past week I was having hot flashes. Turning the AC up then Down then Back up then back down. So yesterday it official went Poop. Our Master Suite is nice and cool now but the rest of the house is steamy. Hopefully they fix it tomorrow.
We have promised ourselves no more will we rent. Its like buying a used car. it might look good when you first get it but then it starts to fall apart. Most places have a clause in their lease that AC units are just a luxury and if they go out they do not have to comp us if we stay in a hotel.
The kids are finally in bed. So Gil and i are going to finish up our weekend on the cough with some much needed R&R time. :)
Oh yeah one last thought. Diana stood today for a good 10 seconds. Shes so close to walking :) Hurry fast and get here grandma :)

Our days

I love being able to stay home with diana. Having Myles with us is such a blessing. they have become best buddies. They are so much fun to watch and play.

Long week

Wow. It has been a while since i posted a blog. The kids are keeping me busy. My home daycare is picking up. Its crazy but I guess thats what keeps me focused. Oh dont forget exhausted. I have picked up three other drop in families and then one other full time baby.
During the day i have Diana 10 months Myles 14 months and now Joshua 7 days old.
LOL I looked at Gil on tuesday and said ITs so easy having baby and not have given birth to him. LOL Well by wednesday i was eatting my words. I am exhausted. From cleaning to chasing my rascles around. :) We are having so much fun though. Myles and Diana and Developing rapidly. they Play off of each other. Diana is now standind on her own for about 10 seconds and is rapidlywalking anywhere tath she can hold on to. Myles is now taking about 10 steps at a time. Watch out Myles Diana is right behind you.
Gilbert has a new shadow where ever he goes, Diana is always right beside him. From the moment that key unlocks the front door she charges him.
Our little boy has a big birthday comming up October 9th. The big 5. I can not believe it. I have decided to make his cake this year. Batman is his theme. I will have to post pictures afterwards. I am excited.
Gilbert and Dean are planning their trip to mississippi for thanksgiving. They are dragging the four wheelers with us. They are souping up Deans fiyr wheeler. they are getting some type of custom tires for it and the racing tires as well. Gilbert and Dean would like to get into Dean racing. OMG. Mommys ok but nervous. So when they go to Mississippi they are going to try them out. Its going to be a long haul . We will have to go get abby from our New meeting spot as She has moved.
Our best friends are divorced one lives in Lawton and then the other is here so they do the same Haul so the meeting city is not that bad. But any ways it will be a long haul to Mississippi. We will leave Tuesday before thanksgiving to pick up Abby and Trott down there. I am not looking forward to that drive , but gil will do all the driving so i guess thats ok.
We are getting ready and excited for My mother to come down here Nov 6th. I am so home sick . I would take off now for a drive if i wasnt working. Gilbert might not get us back.
Its sad living so far away. they miss everthing. With dean we were there for his first part of the toddler years its just sad. Soon enough though. Gils ETS day is getting closer. he has around 6 months left. he has alot of leave saveed up so that could get us out earlier. Hes working on his resume now and starting to learn how the whole process goes. We are excited though. He is ready to be done. I tried a bit to talk him into staying in but hes done with it all. So He says Ohio is a good possibility. I hope so. Id like to be in columbus somewhere, but Gilbert would freak. The traffic and the population would scare him right away. So i have already instructed everyone when he goes for an interview we give him the scenic route to go as he does not see the crowd of stores, people ect ect and turn right around. lol . I think he has finally understood that i need to be around my family. All his family is now on the coast now. His oldest bother just moved down there to work for his other brother. So theres really not a reason to go to Mississippi . YIPPPPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEe.
Well thats all the updates on our Family life for now. As i have finally gotten back into a routine with the kids it will be easier for me to have my time way to play on the computer . :) Nap times are wonderful .

Hurricaine Wind Warning

Tonight while feeding Diana her night night bottle i saw on the television that we were under a hurricane wind warning. Now being from Ohio this is a new one for me. I have been under tornado warnings, blizzard warnings ect ect. Never hurricane. Watching everything that has gone under with my in laws everything makes me jumpy. I got a text pic from my mother in law today. It was a picture of their city was just flooded again today and they said that by over night they were to have gotten 6-9 feet of water. Now this is not due to rain. Its due to the strong winds from the storm pushing the water into the town. How wild is that i have never heard of such a thing. I am staying inside and hibernating this weekend.

I am so excited. For 18 weeks we have been waiting to find out the sex of baby Jackson. Move over diana you will not be the baby of the Family after FeB. LIL Deano was hoping for a boy baby. Every time we asked him what the baby was going to be he said a boy and his name was Jack.

Exhausted

I have not been this tired in a long time. It is about time for Daddy to come home . I HOPE.
LOl . I guess i have taken for gran it our dual parent home and with him absent since last wed i am struggling. I have been to more shopping places these past few day then the whole summer.
Gilbert like it when we are all here together so it was my time to get away and do the things i like to do. :). I like to go shopping with out him monitoring me. His usual phrase " i though we were coming here only for a few things". I think I have just crammed too many things into a few days. He said last night that he would not be staying in Mississippi until Thursday that he would be home in a few day. God help me I hope he leaves to come home tomorrow. I need a break. What i actually need is sleep.
Our princess is just all over the place. LOL I don't remember dean being this active all over the place. Maybe it was just so long ago or maybe its because I'm just getting older.

What a Week.

TGIAF. .... I can not wait for this week to finally be though. I am whooped. I don't think i have been this tired in a long time. The kids are running me around. LOL actually they have been good. Myles and Diana are full blown chasing each other around either crawling or walking on some type of furniture. LOL they finally broke one of my crystal decors today. Yes mother i know they are not suppose to be over there. :) I just cant stop them. Gilberts Glass Entertainment stands are not child proof :O) .
So I have been on the computer all week long between freecycle and Craigslist finding donations for Our parents in MS. I know i have not updated since the Hurricane so i will touch on it a little.
They lost everything once again. The flood waters came though again. They got 9 feet of water. So everything in the storage sheds are gone. Most of all the things in the FEMA TRAILER are gone. The deep freezer is gone ( which is very devastating) all the food in there. The Refrigerator in the FEMA Trailer was nothing bigger then a fridge that you would see in a hotel room. The little ones. So you can see why the deep freezer is a loss. Also they lost the Washer.
So its been pretty stressful for them. I can not imagine.
All week long i have been getting donations and running around picking them up all over fort hood. I have actually finally gotten to know my way around. (OK so the navigational system has gotten to know its way around but hey i had to punch in the destination)
I got donations from simple things like food, clothes, kitchen stuff, towels, blankets, a beautiful comforter. NIB, shoes, cleaning supplies, paper supplies, household goods, ect, ect. Gil took our other washer and dryer to them we had an extra lawn mower he took to them and a bunch of other stuff. He set out at midnight last night for a few days.
They gave him 10 days of leave. I am not sure if he will stay the whole time or not. I guess it depends on what goes on down there.
He had said earlier that its was horrible down there. They lost everything. They are living out of their truck,. The house that they almost have finished except the plumbing and electricity is not in. I don't think the whole inside is finished but if they have the electricity and plumbing it would be a hell of a lot easier. They don't have furniture to furnish it. So i am not sure why they are staying in the truck. Hopefully they can use the blankets at least and comforters and make a bed out of it.
I had gotten a few mean posts on craigslist. They were basically calling them trailer trash and why are they still living in a fema trailer 3 months after KATRINA.
It really pissed me off. These BUTTHOLES had no idea what they were talking about. UNless you are living down there in that situation its unbelievable.
For the first 6 months after Katrina they lived in a TENT On their lot waiting for a FEMA trailer. They had no where else to go. They had insurance on their place before the storm but not flood . Why would they like almost most of the people who lost their houses there. They did not carry flood insurance they did not live in a flood zone they were far back enough from the ocean. So because of the stormsurg that's what damaged the house it was not covered under the homeowners insurance. SO they lost everything. So for 6 months they lived in a tent and the next 2 1/2 years they have been collecting what they could to get their lives back together. Gilbert's mother is a trooper. I tell you what shes a strong ol women. I would have given up and jumped off a bridge.
So over the past year they have been rebuilding a house. Most people in bay saint Louis , gulf port and New Orleans are having their houses built by volunteers so you know what that means you have to wait for them to donate their time. Which is what is taking so long.. That's why they are still in the situation . They are not trash just trying to get their life back
So now after this hurricane and the flooding they have lost most everything again. Its just frustrating.
So anyways that's what i did this week. Pile that up with Diana getting the Flu bug.
We took her to the ER Wed morning with a 105.5 temp.. Its just a virus they said. OK. GREAT. that poor little girl. I am sure glad that was all it was . Now she is coming down with a chest cold as well. Myles is getting one to so tomorrow will be a great day :(
On a positive side we had deans open house tonight. What a big boy. It was so much fun. Its amazing the things hes learning over the past few weeks. He was able to take me around the whole building on his own this time. He was so proud. I can hardly believe he will be 5 i a month. I joined the PTO . I'm excited. I hope the weekend goes smoother. I need a long nap:)

The Wait for the storm.

This has been a long weekend. Not because of the kids being sick, but because of the storm.
I think this is the first time since Gil and My brother Dean Were deployed that i have been glued to Fox News. We had been back and fourth on the phone with Gils Parents before the storm trying to figure out where they were going to go. Then they said they would be in contact with us.
So we have been watching and waiting. It seemed like this weekend had taken forever. Last night we even slept with the tv on.
Watching the news was hard today. There was a news report that showed a house down the street from my Inlaws. We have watched that house for nearly two years now being built. It was a slow build. It is a beautiful house. On the news report it showed that water creaping up under the Elevated house. Thats when it hit us. Reality was at that point that the trail was under water. That the storage sheds where washed away. It was horrible. Just thinking about everything that they have collected over the past few years. It was all they had in the world. Now its gone. I can not imagine.
So we just got a call from His mom telling us that it was confirmed that the trailer was gone. She said that a friend of the family had a read trailer. Like a double wide and the water went to the top of that trailer home. So you knew that since the fema trailer was smaller that a trailer home that it was gone. The water they know was atleast 12 feet high. I guess all they took from the fema trailer was electronics. That means all the rest is gone. They will go back tomorrow to see how far they can go to check it out. I will up date. then . Lets pray that the water did not get into their new home they were building.
