YEAH DEAN's Home

Diana sure does love 6:55 in the am and 2:30 pm. These are the times her brother comes home. As soon as the bus turns the corner about two blocks up shes clapping for him.
She loves her brother. I cant wait for the day for her to run to him when he walks off the bus. She can stand the hole two blocks as the bus comes down the street.

Little Mommy

Diana has become quiet the little mommy over the past few days. She like to rock her baby and cuddle her. As I was making Deans cake yesterday I would dip a spoon in the frosting for her to eat. At one point Diana took the spoon a crawled away. I went into the living room and there was her baby doll all blue LOL. She fed her ear and her hair. LOL. Shes such a good little mommy.

BATMAN Birthday Party.

Dean's 5 Year old Birthday was so much fun. He had a good time with his friends. They decorated pumpkins, played a superman game blind folded, jumped in the jumper, and broke the pinata. They ran and played for a few hours. I know they all went home and crashed. Myles and Diana kept up with everyone real well. :) Cant wait for next year ;).

The Cake

What an emotional haul it was making Dean's Birthday Cake. Its something I have been wanting to do for at least a month now for him. I had a cake lady make the white butter cream frosting up for me as I knew after trying that I could not do it. I picked up the frosting Thursday and started to bake the cake. Then another, and another and another. All three of the four cakes came out with a big hump from left to right. I was so frustrated. I called Becca my last resort. Becca is a fabulous chef, baker ect. I don't know how she does it but in know shes a clone of the cooking channel. She told me to put the batter in the pan and then slam it on the counter. I did 10 TIMES. This batch was going to work. Then she determined I was cooking it on the wrong shelf. Oh yes I was baking it on the bottom. So this cake came out fabulous. Thanks Becca.

So I was tired and thought well its done , I will let it cool and take it out of the pan in the morning. Wrong again. It stuck to the pan. Its now 730am and I am balling on the way to HEB. I was so frustrated. I just wanted to make this cake for Dean. So I was headed to get a few boxes of cake to try it a few more times. I got there and went to the bakery. I asked them If they could just make a plain naked cake for me no frosting, nothing. So they did.

I was so happy I went home to make my cake.

I had my frosting color dye and my tools and I was ready. I did a great job I thought. Dean loved it.

It was a long Haul But I DID IT.
