Stressing out for the Holidays

I am sure I am not the only one but I always stress during the holidays :) This years a little different since we are going to MS. i have to get the house done , get the kids packed and the car packed for the trip. I wish my husband would help but if its not done my way we just but heads so i'd rather do it myself. So im frantically running around trying to do everything my help but going crazy. Tomorrows already Monday and our journey starts Tuesday. We have decided we are taking my car since My hubby's truck is going in to be fixed . I am not sure how i am going to pack the car for all 5 of us. My trunk is so small :(. I have do much to do so little time.
I took poor little Diana to the hospital this am. She went to the doctors early this week. They tested her for the RSV virus and said if she is positive we will call you if not then you will not hear from us. Well she has gotten worse and worse and since the doctors had not called I figured it was a bad cold. Well this morning they informed me that the test results came back positive. So there we sat for 3 hours with breathing treatments ect. Poor little girl. Needless to say the office will get a nasty call from me tomorrow. We now know why she has been struggling to breath. We hope she is ok to go to MS if not we will stay here.
so then I stress about getting Abby. MY husband is not always the best on communication. I asked him today if he had communicated with his ex about the pick up and he was like. UM I think i did. OK now did you or did you not. I'm in full mode now so i need straight answers. Then i was like ok then whens pick up . He hates when you question him so he was like " Like every other time". Now i was pretty sure that it was an hour later than usual but not sure and since I'm not sure he really knows himself i had to email Abby's mom to find out. I hate to bother her but don't want to keep her waiting and I don't want to be late myself plus i have my daycare now and I have to get my back up sitter here at the right time.
I know i just have to sit back and breath but right now I cant :) Laundry is done time to work again .
It will be nice finally when thanksgiving is here to relax:)

Our Sweet little Girl

Poor Diana has this nasty little cold. She looks so pitiful and helps less. Her little nose just pours and she has this horrible cough. The doctors tested her for the rsv virus but nothing came of that. Her oxygen level was down so I suppose that's why they suggest that. She has slept horribly for the past two nights so I will take her back this am to get her ears checked. I cant wait for her ENT apt in Dec. Daddy just sits around and holds her( as much as he can when she will sit still :) He follows her around with a tissue. :) He loves his baby girl he feels just so darn bad for her. He say is shes not 100 % by wed we are not going to Mississippi Although it will be sad if we can not go it would be ok. My hubby's truck is going in to get fixed so all the hard work they have been doing to the four wheelers and the truck tires is going to have to wait for another adventure as we will not be taking the truck to MS we will taking the Car. I am dreading that one. A small car with 5 people in it for a 10 hour drive :( Don't even want to think of it:)
So hopefully Our princess will fell better by then.

Great Customer Service

We have noticed that most places we go now a days lack great customer service. When we lived in Oklahoma my husband and I hated going anywhere there because of the lack of service there. From management on down the chain people are just rude where did it go?? Maybe be its just because we have been living in military towns for so long. Last month I ordered a Hugh supply of Dianas Diaper Creams Pinxav. This stuff rocks. While in college I worked as a pharmacy Tech at CVS and we sold it off the Back racks like hot cakes. When i moved to Oklahoma we could not find it anywhere . I had every pharmacy check their wholesalers books but not one pharmacist could find it or had heard of it. To me that was ridiculous because not only did i use to sell a lot of it but I swore by it with Deano . So I got online when dean was little and found they supplier of it. There is was an Ohio based company :) So ever since then I have ordered it from them or when Im up north I buy a supply of it. So last month I order a Hugh supply of it and had them overnight it to me because Diana had a bad case of Diaper rash and then on top of that the doctors put her on an antibiotic so i knew she needed it then. Well it never came and never came and well darn it i needed it. So i went to the store and got the old Desitin. I had thought well maybe my credit card information was not correct or something but on this months statement there it was a big charge for 70.00 and no diaper cream. I called the company yesterday and left them a message. Today I got a call from a Pinxav Rep Named Darla. She started out. I am sorry Mrs Cox that you have not received it it is obviously lost in the mail. I will refund you your money and send out your order today on us. That was very very nice of her. I was not looking for that just for my product. I was so excited as I ordered two of the biggest jars they have and they are not cheap. :) She also said that she would send me out samples. Very very very good customer service. We talked a while and I told her about all the pharmacy's I had been to in OK trying to find it but no one had heard of it and the same here in Texas. She said she would also send me out a Hugh Care packet of samples and product to take to the pharmacy's to introduce it. I am so excited. I love this stuff and would love everyone to try it. You put it on their bums and the rash is gone in like a few hours. Even the worst rashes. So thank you Darla from Pinxav for your great customer service. :)

What a Handsome Boy He is

Deans Preschool Picture :)

Diana and the Duckies

We walked down to the park today. What a beautiful day for that. Its about a 1.5 walk to the park and Diana and M Loves it. They can see the cho cho train when it blows by us and the firetrucks and EMS cars at the Station as we pass it. Today we decided to feed the duckies :) I am not sure weather Diana likes to be that close to the Ducks. Usually she quacks back at them from her stroller but she was pretty quiet with them in front of her :)

Her Little Accent

As Diana is starting to talk more now we are noticing a little bit of an accent. It is so cute and of course southern as they come Daddy is so in love with it. LOL

Diana's New Chair

Finally the Chair comes in. It has been on back order but its here. She loves it. She rocks in it all the time and then rocks her babies in it. She is such a big girl. Even Dean Loves the Chair. :) Pretty in Pink Deano.

Getting Ready For Thanksgiving

As Thanksgiving approaches Dean and Daddy are getting ready for their 4 Wheeling adventures :). They have been excited for weeks. They have been tending to the maintenance of their 4 wheelers this past week. The 4 wheelers got new tires as did the Trailer, and Daddy's truck got new tires as well. Diana has been having fun playing in the tires. Hey Grandpa Here is your new tire Sales Women :) Diana wanted to be part of everything too. She has been following Daddy and Deano all over the place trying to keep up with them . One day little Darling you can help them out too.

Our time with Grandma

It seems like grandmas stay was only for a few days. We would like to keep her here forever. Even my husband today was sad to see her go. I can not believe it but her was. They have an excellent relationship so that's awesome. Deano had so much fun with grandma. he got her time her love and all her snuggles at bedtime:) They played memory and bingo and colored together. :) Diana Loved her grandma as well. To see her face every morning when she saw grandma. Diana would raise her hands high up in the sky for grandma to pick her up. Grandma taught her all about caring for her baby dolls, from rocking, to feeding, to covering, ect. They had fun together. I hope we can get back to Ohio for Christmas. We are still waiting on word from the Army. Gilbert did say today that he would try everything go get us home one way or another :)

I had such a nice time with grandma. sometimes with all the kids it seemed a little chaotic. It was just nice to have my mother here with me. She helped me out with everything. I can not say thank you FOR EVERYTHING more than I have. We went shopping :) Grandma loves to shop. She bought little Dean some new game systems and Diana toys toys toys and Abby some Christmas Presents. It was too bad Abby was not here for the Stay this weekend. They would have loved to see each other. Its ok. The family is taking a trip to Hilton Head this summer and We are going to try to go too so Abby will be able to come :O)

It will be a little sad while grandma is gone. I got use to the dinner time help , the laundry help :) The talks and the wine drinking. Grandma introduced me to some new wines while she was here. It was quite nice :) i LOVE MY MOM AND WILL MISS Her Hopefully only for a few more weeks until Christmas. :)

1st Cav Museum

One thing we have been wanting to do with the kids since we have been here is to take the kids to the First Cav Museum. Dean is so interested in the Army stuff. He mad us laugh the whole time with the things he says. We were looking at the equiptment and Dean wanted to determin which ones were the US's vehicle and which ones were the bad guys. We got to one display and he said Daddy when you are all done with them in battle you bring the right back here? There were some displays which had the vehicle removed for either repair or a new display. Dean wanted to know what they were. We told them they were an invisible tanker. He was so excited. :) He had such a good time. We enjoyed spending time there looking around with grandma and the kids.

We celebrated Diana's 1st birthday with Grandma Friday night. Diana had so much fun. She played as hard as she could and got as messy as we have ever seen her :) What fun we had. I think she had gotten enough toys to last her a few birthdays :) Deano got another birthday present from grandma before her party started too. He got a new hand held leapster. He loved it. :) We are sure glad grandma was able to be here to share Dianas first Birthday with us

Home for the Holidays

Gosh I am so excited with Christmas Right around the corner. There is a great possibility for us to be going back to Ohio for Christmas. I can not hardly stand it. It has been so depressing thinking that we would not be able to do it. Mom and Dad were able get us all home we are just waiting on Gilbert's leave to go through before we give mom and dad the yea to book the flights. :) PLEASSSSEEEEEEEE LET US GO. :) His unit is deploying for a year this Friday so I am not sure if he will get it or no. Keeping our fingers crossed.

I have diana's snowsuit all laid out and have got a whole list planned on things we will need for our trip. This would be the best trip. The Christmas Holiday is the most important Holiday for me. It means family and speding time with the family . Gilbert has not yet got the whole meaning of Christmas yet. He did not celebrate Christmas growing up. HE is however slowly learning what family and the holidays means to us and is adapting very well. :)

Busy November

Wow November is already here. We have such a busy month planned. Im the planner in the family so I have everything down to the T for the Thanksgiving Holiday. We started Nov. with Dina's 1st birthday. What a big girl she is. Now we are planning on Deans surprise. My mom is flying in tomorrow. She booked her flight a few months ago and it it seems like its taken forever to get here. I am so excited I can Hardley wait. I have kept this secret from Dean the whole time. Its getting harder and harder as I am getting the house ready for her I just hope I do not slip. She will get in a little bit after noon time tomorrow and Dean will be in school. She will be here to get him off the bus. I can not wait. He is going to be so surprised. :)
So after that big event we will celebrate Diana's 1st birthday Friday night with a few friends and Grandma.
Daddy is working so hard on getting all the kids 4 wheeling equipment ready and set for Thanksgiving. We will be headed to Mississippi for that. I will have to go pick up Abby Tuesday night so we can leave from here first thing in the am on Wed after Gils first formation. :) Its an 11 hr trip from here. We just did not want to drive 2.5 hours out of our way and then 11 more hours from there. It would be too much for Diana :( So Off to Mississippi we will go.
Busy Nov will lead us straight into December :) I cant wait for Christmas.

Happy Birthday Diana

1st birthday poem :)
Covered in cake and icing,

your smile stretched ear to ear.

A single candle celebrates, the joy of your first year.

We sing Happy Birthday, you play midst wrap and bows.

We marvel at how you touched our lives, just one year ago.

I remember the first time I held you, kissed your head,

whispered your name.you've changed our lives forever,

Our hearts will never be the same.As a child you'll love this day,

for all the sweets and presents too.As parents we'll love your day,

for the gift we got was you. Each year we'll add another candle,

so proud to see you grow. But always with the memory,of your first day long ago.

HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY DIANA WE LOVE YOU

Baby Want a Bath?

Our sweet girl just wanted to give her baby doll a bath :) Good thing i just cleaned the toliet>\. I was standing at the tub drawing her bath and I turned around and there they were :). She is so smart.

Trick O Treat :)

The kids had a great time this year. Dean came right home off the bus and got into this Costume. Dean was wolverine this year and Diana was Piglet for her very first Halloween.
Diana was very proud of her Costume. :) We started out about 700 last night. Our first two houses probably were not the best ones to go to for Diana. They were scary scary houses. Anything you can think of was hanging from the trees and stuck into the grass there. the people were are dresses up and decked out like a scene from the scariest Movies. Diana just stood there frozen looking at everyone. Dean walked hesitantly up the drive way :) From there on out they were good to go. Diana was not too much into carrying her Halloween bucket but once she knew what was in there she had a death grip on it. LOL. We finished up the evening at our house passing out candy. Dean loves to pass out Halloween Candy :) He would throw handfulls of candy into their bags.
