This weekend we started to transition the kids to fall asleep on their own. Yes I know Dean should be far beyond that point but I have always slept with my babies. I can sleep better if I am laying next to them and they can as well. Its my safety zone. I know where they are at all times and nothing is going to happen to them. Well when you have two kids night night time gets a little harder :) Both kids pick on each other until really late and mommy had gotten tired of getting after them a thousand times a night to lay down go to sleep and for goodness sakes quit laughing at each other. So now both kids are transitioning into their own beds and mommy is back into her own bed. SNIFF.
To make the transition go a bit smoother gma got the kids each their own new bedding sets. Dean Star wars of course, and Diana Tinkerbell. They both love their new beds. Diana just loves Tinkerbell. She loves to lay in her bed. She looks so comfy in it. Last night it was great because Tinkerbell actually came on television. She laid there still for sometime just amazed. Tonight we came home from work and there was a surprise in the room for Diana. Gma was out shopping and found some decals that glow in the dark. The decals are of Tinkerbell and the fairies. Diana loves them. She wants to keep Turing off the lights to seem them. She lays right there under them just so quietly (until bedtime of course).
I think the new beds and the new look to the room is the magic touch for her to sleep better on her own. Dean of course loves his star wars and fell asleep tonight in his new bed with his star wars book and his clone trooper tucked in right next to him :)

Trip to the Rainforest
Today ended the kids 4 day weekend. Boy did it seem like a long four days with the time change. Today we went to the Rain forest. I have never been to the rain forest, I have only been to the zoo. Yesterday I was trying to figure out something fun for the kids to do before they returned back to school. It was suppose to be cold today so I thought the rain forest would be good. I had all four kids today and I hate putting one child in the front seat so my girlfriend picked up Deano and took him with her to the rain forest. She always helps me out when I'm in a jam. Thanks Nana. She is a nanny too and the kids go to the same school as my L and T so it worked out. We met up at the rain forest and the kids had a blast. Its funny watching the kids at different stages in their life. The younger ones were in Awww looking at the animals and the older ones read the description of almost all the animals they saw. It was a great learning experience for the kids. They had some demonstrators outside the different areas who had hands on material of the critters we saw today. I my favorit is always the Apes. I could watch them all day if I could. It was a good day. We were going to go over to the zoo but it was freezing out and my L was starving :) Got to love a growing boy :) The eatery was closed at the zoo so I tried to think quick where could we go to eat. I was not about to stop anywhere in Cleveland and I knew the kids were all hungry so I thought well why not the mall. It was on the way home it was like 1200 and we had time. It also solved all arguments as to what everyone wanted to eat as they have everything you could possibly want :) We ate and stopped at the pet store. I love it there. I think T, Diana and I could have stayed there all day petting the cats and obsessing over the puppies and which ones we wanted :) My two older children fell asleep on the way home so the trip must have tuckered them out :)
A fun day had for all. I know Deano fell asleep at 8 tonight with out any fussing so I know it wore him out.
