Match that Baby

Ok for 19 months now I keep hearing " Im sorry Jenn but she looks just like her daddy". I know I know. Everything down to the T is like GIl. Even her facial expressions. I cant believe it. I had never seen a baby picture of Gil before this week. His mother keeps telling me that it was Gilbert who had this baby not me. She found some baby pictures of Gil and sent them. Now I am convinces that She is 100% a clone of her daddy. WOW. I was a chunky rolly baby. I could not figure out why Diana is so slender. Now I know.

She can ride

YEAH.. Our big girl can finally ride a bike with out training wheels. She is so proud of her self. Two days after we arrived back in Medina Abby learned to ride her bike. Grandpa helped her on Sat and by Sunday she was full blown riding. She lives on that thing now.

Keeping them young

They kids are adjusting well. Diana just loves her grandma and her grandpa. I hope the kids are keeping them young. Dean and Abby are in a constant competition with each other. Sometimes it very difficult. This too will pass I say to myself. LOL. The other night Dean and Abby were racing outside. Dean usually loses as he has shorter legs than Abby and He just does not understand it. Grandma and Grandpa Decided that they would race . LOL> Grandpa just had a partial hip replacement a year ago and I think this was his first run. Go grandpa go.

My Crash

I finally got a ticket off my record from 2006. Our insurance finally went down and now this. Yesterday I was on a tight schedule. Grocery shopping, lunch, pool, salon. I had every min planned. Well almost. While we were running behind We were going to have to cut the pool time in half so we got ready for the pool, loaded up the car and off we went. BOOM. Then we stopped. Everyone is ok. Just a bump. OR not? Gilbert parked his truck directly behind mine which he usually does not. The kids were arguing and I was just looking behind me then I stopped( Not by choice). Of course my car is not drive able due to the fact I have no lights in the pack and need a new lid, but Gilbert's will be ok. A big scratch and a little fender damage but ok.
AHHH. I cant not believe this happened now. Guess its time to find a job.

Girls Day

For the past few summers now our Abby has been asking to get her hair cut. We have always said no but finally she talked us into it. She has such beautiful hair. Since My 20s I have always gone to my girlfriend to cut my hair. She work in a great salon here and they are very reputable. I trusted Dee with her. Just us girls went. NO BOYS :) Daddy took deano earlier in the day to get his hair cut.
Abby had a great time and she looks amazing. I will work with her over the next few day on how to style it now. She so happy with it. It brings out some highlights there were there.

Splash pad

We had a fun day at the splash pad this Monday. I had not been to the splash pad since it had opened up. Medina has put on in and its free for the community. Its opened 11 to 8. What a great idea. We had one by us in Texas but you had to pay for it. The kids had a great time. This was my first day out with my girlfriend. :)

LOOK AT FOR THE KILLER TURTLE

LOl. This weekend was so much fun down at the Bay. The kids got to see all the fun stuff that washed up from the water on to land. We were outside playing ball when Abby saw a TURTLE. LOOK at the turtle . Its Hugh here it comes. As it got closer and closer she kept saying its Hugh. They I got a look ant knew there was no turtle the size of that there in the Bay.
Here comes dean.... Its a snake. Mommy its a snake. I tired to tell them it was fish but nope. They were convinced. ...... So we watched for a bout 10 min for our TURTLE to swim in .lol.

Weekend At Grandmas House

We had a great weekend this past weekend. We went to Clyde to see our Grandparent. Everyone had fun. We always do. My grandparents live on lake Erie so sitting there with the water always puts you in a better mood. It was Abby's first time meeting my grandparent so that was so nice. We've talked about her for years now and finally they got to meet. The kids played baseball, basket ball rode bikes, waded in the lake. They had a great time.

The race is on.

This has been a long summer already. Our two oldest children are in a constant competition with one another. They both have to be the first at what every they are doing, the first to get to the car, the first to sit in a specific seat, the first to jump up and help clean, the first to blow their nose, the first to get in the tub, ect ect. Sometimes it seems like a bit much. I know I have felt like pulling my hair out. If one is happy the other is sad and vice versa. This is a difficult age for me. Well for Diana well shes just full blown hot or cold. Either shes happy or shes mad. LOL. Typical toddler. DS and AJ favorite thing to do outside it so race each other. DS obviously loses most of the race as he is much smaller than AJ. Every race usually ends up with DS pouting and AJ glowing. I don't know how to help him. Sorry buddy in a few years you'll out run her. :( Poor baby.

Settling in

Its been a long week. We have I think finally recooperated from our long drive from Texas to Ohio. Thats one trip that my hubby and I aggreed that we do no want to go on again. The kids were great. I dont think we could have asked for anything more.
Our moving company came. Boy did they mess things up or what. I had things specific that were coming here and things that were going into storage. Well Poohie on them they got it messed up. I will have to deal with that this week. Not looking forward to that one.
I have emptied most of the kids things already. I just have to get though all the clothes boxes this week. Uggg. Good thing it will be raining from mid week on .
I miss everyone back in texas. I just have not had the time to pick up the phone and talk . Its crazy. I had all the time in the world before and now I dont have time for anyting.
Hopefully things are settling down and this week will be much better.
