This years Halloween was great. Deano was well... he was a storm trooper and at the last minute he decided to be luke skywalker too. So I called him luke the storm trooper. Diana was an adorable Elmo. I think was our best costume yet. Everyone loved it. She looked like the cutest little monster. The kids lasted almost 2 hours of Trick or Treating. We didnt have any other choices but to come home. Diana's Elmo basket was over flowing. :) We had a great time.

Happy Halloween 2009
This time of year is my favorite time of year FALL. I love it. The leaves turing color, the leaves falling off the tree, making big piles of leaves for the kids to jump in, the cool air, and the smells of wood burning in the fire place. Since 2006 we have lived down south in Oklahoma and in Texas. It has been quiet a different fall for us. In oklahoma the leaves do turn colors, they do fall off the tree, and its does get colder but later in the season. Last year in Texas it was horrible. The trees did not change colors until december and then leaves didnt fall off the tree until around that time. During Halloween I was sweating. I belive it was probably in the 80's. Boy its good to be back in Ohio.
I have been telling the kids about the beauty of the leaves falling down and the big pile of leaves that I was going to rake up for them so they could jump in. This past week I took the kids out to play in them. It has been kind of rainy here, but looking up at the trees If we didnt play in the leaves then they would be gone and the opportunity would not be here again until next fall. Dean and I worked for a while raking the leaves up into a pile. what I didnt tell Dean the kids tis that they were a little wet. I knew Dean would not get it the pile if he knew it. Diana was the first to jump in she was like ewwww and then was like wheeeeeeeeeeeeee mommy. I Dean just ran though them a few times but that was it. He said " im not going in there". When Diana stood up from the pile she had lady bugs crawling up her back. That was it from me. Who knows about the spiders.
