Tastefully Simple for "Two's'"

One reason I love Tastefully Simple because its really just that simple. Most of the recipes are only a few steps. It takes me an average of 5 to 15 min to prepare the food. In the morning I make my favorite Cinnamon Muffin Melts. Its as simple as this pour the mix into a bowl and stir in 1 cup of water. Now bake it and take it out to cool. Melt 1 stick of butter and set aside. In another bowl dump in the already made cinnamon mix. Once the Muffins are a little cool dip them into the butter and roll them into the cinnamon mix. Yum Now its time to eat.
Today daddy was downstairs playing the WII with Dean. I wanted to do something in the kitchen with Diana but didn't know what. Mom made a relish and vege tray this weekend and I had been wanting a vege dip so I thought. That's it Diana and I will make the Spinach and Herb Dip. I love this its another one of my favorite's. It literally took Diana 5 min to make this . It would have taken me about 3.
Diana Made this whole dip herself. All I did was separate 1 cup of sour cream into a measuring cup and 1 cup of mayo into another measuring up. This was the perfect cooking experience for Diana and I today. I cant believe its so simple my Two year old can do it all by herself.

Tastefully Simple is just THAT SIMPLE

Its official I am a new Tastefully Simple Consultant. I am so excited about it. I had my first taste of Tastefully Simple while working for a daycare when Diana was a baby. A mother of a student in my class was selling it. I tried the Cinnamon Muffin Melt and Nana's Apple Cake I was hooked right after that. I have been ordereing for the past few years now and love the products. When I moved back to Ohio this past summer my consultant tried to get me to sign on. I was not sure it was right for me at the time. TS was having a great Sign up special of 99.00 instead of the regular 170.00. I just had moved back and my life was crazy and I didnt know too many people. I told my sister about it and the great 99.00 deal they were having. Then shortly after that she signed up. Well if she can do it I can.
I have been a consultant for almost two weeks now and I just got my first book order rolling. I am so excited. This is so easy and fun to do. How many people can enjoy what they are doing, make money, make new friends, and eat great food?

HAPPY HAPPY Birthday to Me

Its official, I'm not getting any younger :( Today I turned 31. Boogers. I guess this is where my body starts falling apart? My sister was up last night so my mom did a birthday cake for me then. I will take Dean out for Ice cream at dairy queen for my birthday today just him and I since daddy can never seem to remember that the kids like to do something for mommy too. Little Deano was a little sad today about that. :( Poor kid. I'll make that better with some sugar :)
Daddy shocked me once again with some jewelry. First Christmas and then today.
He got me LeVian 1 K Gold Raspberry Rhodolite™ Garnet Ring. Its just beautiful. It's a Raspberry Rhodolit ,ringed with white diamonds and set in 14K strawberry gold. On either side sparkles a row of round Le Vian Chocolate Diamonds®. There are Rows of round white diamonds to the side of the band



Yep you can say he did well. Diana Was a little upset as she thought it was hers and I quote "MY (W)RING"
So Happy Birthday to me. Mom got me a few great gift certificates with will come in handy.

Outside Fun

This should have been a previous post but I just never got around to it. I took these pictures Christmas Eve. There was not too much snow. We took the kids outside to sprinkle Reindeer Dust to help Santa and his Reindeer find us :)

Fun Day of Bowling

We took the kids out bowling on Christmas Break. They loved it. With four kids all Christmas break we needed to keep them busy. The " Nannies" took our kids out for a fun day. Mommy was exhausted. We had 11 kids total and you might as well count Diana about 5 more times. My busy busy busy baby. We all had fun.

Pray For Autrey

I wanted to share Autrey's Story with my readers as she could really use your prayers. This amazing strong young lady is a niece of a good friend of mine.
Autrey Haskell who is 15 is a beautiful, talented, strong, young woman. In June of this year she was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called synovial sarcoma. This has metastasized to her lungs. Since her diagnosis she has undergone radiation, chemotherapy and surgery as well as a few complications. She has been in and out of the hospital fighting this ugly disease and it does not seem so fair for her to go though this. She will fight this, she is fighting this and she will win. You can read her story in her own words. You can feel what a strong young lady she is. I read her story updates and think Oh my I would never be as strong as her. I sit her and I am angry for her. I don't think I get though any journal entry with out a dry eye. She has an amazing support system from immediate family to friends. Autrey's Army is standing beside her to fight with her.

Common Sense

This past November Medina's 9 mil dollar Levy failed. Surprise Surprise. So a long list of cuts in the district are now enforce. The Busing is reduced to the state min. This really does not affect us that much as we are less than a mile from the school. This year since Deano is in Kindergarten we take him to school and then they bus him home. Their thinking is that the am kinder. can walk with older siblings or neighbors and then since there is no one else let out of school at 11:00 they then bus those am kind back to their homes. Then they bus the Pm kind. students to school and then they walk home. Since the levy failed the busing is cut. Any child that lives less then two miles has to walk. No more bussing for them. Not really a big deal for us as my husband takes Dean to school every day. What does upset me is that now all the children who have to walk or for all the children that have been walking all year are now dealing with the cold weather of winter. Although I love the snow I hate for the kids to have to walk a foot deep in snow because families are not shoveling their side walks. It takes what ten min to do this. Its not a big deal. Actally its common sence. Not every child has the Luxory of their parents taking them to school so they have to walk. No its not a bad thing but it makes me mad when I see the kids struggling to walk in the deep snow that is covering the side walk. Common sense parents. Would you really like to walk a foot deep in the snow? I would shovel all the way to school for the kids if I was home at that time but I am just getting home from work at 830 and the kids are already at school. This morning at work I made sure I shoveled the side walk halfways down the street because I know there are kids who walk to the bus stop. No i didnt have to just common sense. WHen I go back to work this afternoon I will go a bit early to make sure The side walk is clear again for them. I just dont get it. There are so many stay at home parents you would think one they would want to do that for the kids in the area and two get up and get some excersice.
