Can we keep her?

Last night Dean looked at daddy and said Dad can we keep her? Keep who he asked? Diana. Can we keep her. I thought Gil was going to laugh so hard he'd fall on the floor. Kids just say the funniest things.

Home away from home

Gils little Girl comes home for her Fall break today. We are all very excited for her to be here. Dean got her new baby doll she got right before she left all ready for her in the car to take to her. It was sweet. He is always saying. I miss Abby. No matter how much they disagree they like each other. We are so happy to have Abby here with us.
We do not get to see her much as we live far in two different states. With two blended families its hard. She is allowed to be here for one weekend a month but it has not happened that way so far.

Gil gets nervous every time he sees her. I know she does too. I am sure its hard leaving her mommy and her sister even for a few day to come have a little fun here too. Its always nice though that Daddy puts some time aside for just Abby and Daddy every time she is here. They need that time to reconnect. Even if its just time away shopping its their time.

We cant wait to see her. Diana has changed so much in the past two months it will be great for the two of them to spend some quality time together while dean is at school this week.
