Its finally getting closer and closer. Grandma has been sending pictures of their tree, the lights and the snow. We are all so very excited. My hubby finally got the all clear to come with us. We all cant wait. He even started to talk about packing. That usually does not happen for him until 2 hours before we leave to go anywhere :). Hes excited. My brother is coming home too and my sister will be there. It will finally to great to have us all there together. Mom talked about getting a family photo organized. That would be great. ( now i can stress about what to put the kids in ) :) .
My hubby is already talking about taking Diana in the snow. We will have to get the kids some boots and deano some snow pants. Diana has her snowsuit all ready to go :). I am so excited.
I have this awesome video I would love to post up there but my Husband would get me. He did not grow up celebrating Christmas . There was no tree , no presents, non of that. While I have been celebrating forever its strange for me. The past few years I Have gotten the house all done up and he wanted to part of it. He didn't even want a tree but we had a small tiny one. So this year Knowing we would not be home I still wanted a tree. I just got a dainty 6.5 ft artificial tree pre lit and got a few bulbs. Just enough for us. Last night the kids were putting the bulbs up. I caught out of the corner of my eye my husband partaking in this event. LOL. I got just a small clip of him standing at the tree putting a bulb up. Once he saw me he walked away saying oh no your not going to get me and walked away from the tree. He never went back. LOL you bet that video went out to my brother. A few years a go during Gil's last tour they boys decorated their bunks with Christmas decorations. Except for Gil. My brother just could not get it why Gil would not decorate his so Dean ( my brother) decorated gil's bunk. Dean tells the story and how mad Gil got ect ect. Dean has always called his scrooge. :) So last night the video was perfect. I sent it to dean to let him know. Gils come a long way :) He loved the video of course and then had to reminisce of their time in Iraq :)
